Ebay has switched back to the old site design... On the cover it does look like it may have been a problem with the new design. I would imagine it wouldn't take that much of a flaw or error to bring a site down. Unless Sun was doing all of the work associated with this new design (which I highly doubt), I don't see how they could take much blame... Also Ebay apologizes for not having a mirrored back up design which would kick in should there be a problem with the normal servers. This may be good for sunw in that more e-commeres sites may have to have a separate set of servers for the mirrored design. I'm really surprised Ebay didn't have this already in place. Roger
