Dennis or anyone else that could help!!!!!:-)

I have a Connectix Camera and software and use the Microsoft Netmeeting to talk to my family members and a few friends. This works pretty well for some good conversations.

Please explain the difference between what I have and what NPEC is offering thru Metroplus. I know that that is not a simple request but come close , please :-)

And please, I don't need to hear from some of our "basher" group. I am looking for a good honest answer and I don't think people like "bully", WLD, J.Nelson, grantsi, MINDLESS, or others like them can supply any type of honest answer.

Regards,

Ken

PS. PM me if you had rather do so.

I am an engineer for one of the top three telecommunications companies.

Ok, then, a telecomm question. How will Metroplus guarantee the QoS necessary for reasonable voice transmission? They neither own a backbone (or any piece thereof) nor are they willing to pay much for bandwidth (per a PR.) And what bandwidth they have talked about is metered, which begs the question of how they expect to make money selling a flat-rate plan?

Yes, I have asked these questions directly of NPEC, Metroplus and IPVoice.com, and none have provided an answer. The closest I got was a "someone will call you back", which never happened.

Hi can you help me ?

I'm looking for some information on any of the following systems. Is NPEC looking at any of these for use in there system?

PathStar Access Server
Unisphere Solutions
IP Connect
EWSD Switch
MAX "TNT"
or
EXS Media Gateway

They all have IP use and I'm trying to see if one of the firms is used in this new network of NPEC. If you have any breath with the company can you tell me what will be the backbone of there new network.

Thanks for any help you can provide.
Jim.....

P.S. Nice posting on your thoughts.
