MSFT rules the PC application area for 3 reasons: - #1 - they invested big $$'s in Windows Programs while the others were content to milk their dos-based programs - #2 - they dramatically cut prices so the avg. business & home user could afford it - #3 - they gave customers what they wanted - although, to this day, I'd much prefer my old, dos-based Multimate word processor - but the avg. person wants to point & click - not memorize codes.
