stockman, i have been long CMGI several times over the last several months so I haven't always been bearish on this stock. However, a technical benchmark many technical analysts use for a "condition of excess" is 50% rise above the 50 dma. This stock was 100% above it's 50 dma at the top. Investors were really willing and unafraid and brave to pay up big time at the top on margin. "Be brave when others are afraid, and afraid when others are brave." - Warren Buffett my bearishness has been quite correct on this sector lately and now after this condition of excess we have quite an ugly looking top with sellers coming in at the downtrend supply line on this and all the internet stocks and are going into a seasonally weak time for stocks. Niether is my 85 year old grandfather who has thousands of shares of CMGI and DELL very sad stockman that you have convinced people in this age group who should be in 70% fixed income investments to pile so much money into a speculation. afraid when others are brave." i get very nervous to hear such things, the wall of worry may have crumbled.
