All markets are manipulated and always have been. Gold has never traded freely or un-politically so I'm not sure why now should be any different. Nor do I see why gold longs complain or are surprised.

The major industrialized nations control about half their GNP's in tax revenues; have set up central banks that can appropriate effectively unlimited wealth in any given market; and own the world's largest gold hoards (usually as a result of confiscation).

A bet on gold is a bet on loss of control, which I seen plenty of evidence of as of late, despite the price.

Happily sitting on physical....

Good Luck.

Well, Don, you now agree there is manipulation. Now, do you also wonder how much else is being manipulated? How will you protect yourself, when the game changes - again? You going to just watch, or come over and fight the good fight.
