Michelle, there is no OT on this thread. Had I moved to Texas directly from the Bay Area, which has the world's best weather (with the possible exception of San Diego), I would probably have died. <g> But, I went from California to San Angelo for 4 months, then to Germany, all courtesy of the Army, back to California to finish college, then to Rock Island, Illinois, back to Germany for the DOD as a civilian, then to England for a year or so, then back to California, then to Philadelphia for grad school, then to Kansas City, then St. Paul, then Dallas and then Houston. So, I snuck up on Houston instead of taking it all in one dose. <g> Seriously, the only place where weather was a major concern to me was St. Paul. I couldn't believe anywhere was that cold for that long.
