*OT* >>I am using free TC2000 software and getting what I paid for.<<

I used to use and actually preferred plain old MS Excel for my charts. I just expanded to a point hwere I couldn't keep up any more and had to get a faster easier program. With Excel I had to massage them every night and I used my own programmed indicators. Because of this, I actually knew each chart in intimate detail. When the market moved, I knew every aspect of my charts by memory and could react faster. Now I have no idea and have to look since MetaStock is so user friendly. Good for speed of posting but not for being at work and hearing a market on the radio and being able to react by a mental picture of a chart and knowing right where a certain quote falls within the resistance and supports.

That said, I still pray for the big score that will allow me to get tradestaion someday. I work full time so get to do actual real money trades only on rare occasions when I am off work due to computer firewalls at work not allowing internet access to non government sites. With tradestaion, I will be able to program in desirable entries and exits and my systems that I use for what to do in each circumstance and then let my computer do the trading while I am at work. The only drawback is the huge price tag.

Good Luck,

Lee
