Could anyone point me in the right direction? I am conservative and primarily trade in covered call writing. I would like to balance my account with some short stock, short put positions. I am too risk adverse to short volatile over priced high flyers. Instead, for example, I tried to place an order to short Irridium several weeks ago when the puts had a very rich premium. In this case I believed the stock to be destined for lower prices based on fundamentals and I did not believe that the probability for a large upside reversal was high. Unfortunately my broker did not have the stock available. Is there any source of "conservative" shorting ideas on the web? Thanks.

ACRI: I highly doubt it: "I've been on this train longer then u. Do some DD for a change" Perhaps you ask a few on that thread of my knowledge re ACRI. I will not be getting into a pissing match as we officially have no longs. BUT, I can assure you of this, I am DEEP DEEP undercover on this one.
