I hate to belabor the point, as there are many other important aspects of the IPO to discuss but, when the installer creates the LINUX partition does it completely reformat the HD? Can it partition the drive on the fly? Not too many people will want to wipe out their existing drive contents in order to load LINUX and, "try it out". I don't have a problem with saving my important stuff, ( most of it is on CD-R anyway), and reloading Windows on another drive so that I can try LINUX out, but I'm not sure if the average computer user is willing to go through all that trouble.
If Linux is to be successful it will have to co-exist with windows for awhile. I still have to read my hundred's of Word97 documents Excel97 documents, AutoCAD files, MSVisual Basic programs,.....
