don't hedge you say ? ah, but barrick does, so why shouldn't i... i bought barrick early, but sold some oct calls and bought them back cheaper...what's wrong with that...now i've sold the barrick july 20 calls for a measly 3/8ths...no matter...if 'they' want the stock at 20, 'they' can have them... writing calls commits you to a position, and lets you earn some extra dough , while toughing things out... i've also done it on agnico, a stock you privately recommended to me...sold the march 9's (in cdn $) ...it landed right on 9, so i got to keep the premium...the premium paid for puts on bids... that of course is another story <ng> ike
