Bill, Victory Gallop made a great move and the ease with which he beat some awfully good horses has to be respected. Silver Charm seems to have the blahs. I thought Pat Day's horse put in a good show. But the match I am looking for is Victory Gallop vs. Behrens. I hope both have game that day.

I don't know how much Barron's is going to raise the price. Half the time my local grocer doesn't want to charge me for it because he thinks it is the local shopping ad rag. <g> They are going to have to put out better issues than this one if they expect me to keep buying and reviewing it. However, I did write a letter that could be in next week's issue, at which point all bets are off. <g>

Bill and Mike,

I thought Victory Gallop's performance was the best I've seen this year. He ran away from some good horses like they were standing still, won by daylight, and ran an excellent final time. I'm looking forward to seeing the Beyer figure. It's got to be close to 120 or so.
He's moved forward from last year if this is his new sustainable performance level. His only downside is his deep closer running style.
Silver Charm is done. He won't win another big race unless it falls into his lap.
