I'm not a CyberTrader. I've been following this thread for a long time, though. I guess CyberTrader has had its ups and downs the same as most other Direct Order Entry firms. My experience (or paranoid belief, depending on your perspective) has been that most firms will take on more customers than their system can handle and then upgrade after the fact. Probably a case of economic necessity (or policy?). Sorry for the cynical view, but so far it seems to be the truth.

Cyber went through a major overhaul of their system around the beginning of the year and had many bugs as a result. They switched from using the Townsend price servers to using their own, which I guess was a major undertaking. At the same time they were bringing on-line some alternative platforms to their main one, that were less involved and targeted at less experienced traders. It took a while for everything to get ironed out, but at some point a couple months ago (may not have the time frame exactly right) things started smoothing out.

Telephone support: I can't say.

I'd recommend scanning this board and sampling from different periods to get more particulars (and points of view).

Hope this helps,
w
