<so long since I've held a stock...> Yeah, I've had the same experience. My tax return being reviewed by a couple of bankers and a CPA a few years ago, and they were studying the attachments with the 1000's of stock trades. One banker says to me: "how many of these did you hold for long-term gains?". None, I replied - not one, explaining a short-term trader. The other banker says "you mean not ANY?" and so forth. Despite the eye-popping returns, they were obviously mortified! :) I guess they just hadn't seen it done like that... -Steve
