I'm fairly new here and trade fulltime, Dale and the regulars here do intensive DD before buying a stock. I have seen no spamming or negativity until You posted Today. The regulars here are savvy traders who don't have big ego's, and are willing to share Their DD and opinions. You sound TENSE, let the trend be your friend cya.

Gee, Hiram, I checked my records and found I had 24 profitable short trades this year and six losers.

Am I speculating the wrong way in this bull market? Or just hedging my portfolio properly? I should have shorted more lately - as I noted in my last Update - but you can't win them all.

I would still like to hear more about CAMP if you are interested in sharing that with us. I think you have found the posters here aren't planning on giving up on the thread. And the last time SI counted, there are 1256 others that have us bookmarked.

So it's a good forum to discuss your favorite picks.

ROFL, point made.

I didn't like the sound of that post after
I wrote it, but I didn't much like your
slam of this thread, either.

JSB, bull markets make geniuses of us all don't they?

Not most fund managers, from the results I have seen. That's why we get a bit defensive here. A bunch of amateurs can sit around and pick good stocks better than a herd of overpaid "experts".

A few of our plays are too small for funds to get into, but most are not.

If anyone has a regularly updated link giving the average YTD performance for US mutual funds I would like to take a look. I doubt that most of them are very far in the black at all this year.
