Gary,
I see a bullish look to oil with a test of the 19-20 area very shortly. Tuesday I think is possible. If the api data does not move strongly then we could see a sell off. I like RIG chart best now since it has already corrected and resumed upward on a nice volume reversal at support. Have you noticed than many of the leaders are making new highs yesterday for the year? Others, such as SLB, SII have not returned to glory yet.I am still looking for slb to hold 66+ to signal the next strong up-leg.

Gary,
Do you think that the OSX would move independent of a downdraft in the major indexes if we were to have one or would it fall with the rest?
Last summer/early autumn the OSX was falling on its own as the indexes fell. This time around it could be different as the reasons for a potential fall in the markets (TYX increase related to inflation, commodities up, oil up, uptick in asian markets...) are also reasons for the OSX to do well.
Or am I all wet???

Best Regards,

Roebear

Gary,
How about a little EW magic on this chart?http://www.bakerhughes.com/bakerhughes/rigcount/Rig%20PDF's/June%2011%20Summary.pdf

Looks like land dropped and water picked up a couple.

Thanks Gary,

Very interesting analysis. I agree SLB is looking very weak lately.
