hb, I do not disagree with your proposition. I really believe that the negative Y2K mania has not even yet become a consideration. The equity market is still dealing with the interest rate phobia -- fighting yesterday's battles. The potential hoarding may be a big bonus to many companies. It is going to happen. I've already had several calls relating to the best method to hold gold. I just listen. The real question is (again) when folks will go to the sidelines and where they will put the dollars. I hardly can imagine that the bond market will be able to withstand this massive liquidity. BWDIK Berney
