You're starting to convince me, Elmer. At the bottom of:
spec.org
it says: "The Intel Compiler 4.0 for Windows NT is shipped with VTune 4.0"

So, apparently, VTune is a product that Intel ships for benchmarking purposes. So, probably, AMD used the same binaries.
