<Because people who were incredibly lucky for the last year by going long these
internuts, are simply unable to comprehend that it was in fact nothing more than luck. >

There may be more than a kernel of truth to this statement. But the same, of course, can be said of the internut storts at present.

It all depends on one's LONG-TERM view, as to whether this is a stiff correction, the beginning of a bear market, or a 1,000-year Armeggedon.

How much money were you making when my portfolio increased 20-fold in 18 months? And how much money are you now making when my portfolio tanks 50% in 2 months? I can't help now wonder if the really smart folks are not b&h'ers like me, nor chronic pessimists like you, but rather traders like Jan who are flexible enough to make hay whether it rains OR shines.

>>I can only hope those same investors can gather together enough money to buy puts, and have the final laugh.<<

When AMZN was in its tulip - high volatility phase I lost more money on puts than on the shorts. With the premiums and the apparent manipulation around expiration time I don't know how you can win.
