Where I fault THQ management is allowing the perception that THQ is a company with little insider buying and substantial insider selling. This works against attracting new investors. I would support options with a longer holding period and/or a higher strike price. The reason for granting options is to give management an incentive to grow the company and then profit from that growth. Options should not be granted to allow risk free speculating on the stock price. Watching the insider selling from options is a little like watching your fiancee hock the engagement ring because she needs a down payment for a new car.
