There's a CNBC-Europe add which features a very posh British guy saying, "Too late to sell...too early to buy." Seems to sum up your dilemma.

I still advocate putting in lowball orders for quality companies. That's what I missed last October in the panic; he chance to get some great companies very cheap.

The problem with sitting on the sidelines is that you have to be convinced to get back in the game, and believe that the latest runup is not just a feint. Most people can't overcome the psychological land mines inherent in that process.

Maybe I'm just lazy, or I like to own a lot of stocks.
