Hi, everyone.

I'm reporting in from Guangzhou, China. We are at the White Swan Hotel at the moment - very opulent.

This is my first online access in almost 2 weeks - talk about SI deprivation!

In Beijing, I did not have time to search out a business center (only 4-5 star hotels have them) with Internet access. In Wuhan, I finally found one hotel with access - but it was very slow. I only had time to see about 200 MRVC messages, but reading them was just too slow.

Even here in the White Swan (the best hotel in Guangzhou) they only have 4 machines with Inet access and the printer is a slow Cannon BJC-255SP. All the time typing this post so far it has been printing out 2 pages of text. I asked if they had anything faster - no dice.

Even so, China is making remarkable progress in telecommunications. Cell phone use is exploding, with growth of 120% per year. PCs are just starting to move into homes and Inet access must be very rare and slow. A few Aranea routers and other MRVC products should help that a lot <g>. Make that A LOT of Aranea's.

The monitors are 14". Lots of signs for China Telecom. I attended an exposition on GPS surveying and mapping equipment in Wuhan - it just happened to be across from the hotel. (Ah, page 3 on the printer just finished!). All the equipment has small handheld size calculators with GPS capability. I saw a demo of a palmtop size machine with a hi-res screen and a mapping product. They demoed it for me, going from the street we were on, to the district, to the city, to the area, to the province of Hubei, to all of China via the zoom button - very impressive. The full China map had dozens of clickable points for zoom down too.

I see the stock didn't move, but haven't read much to see why not. I should be back within a week - can't wait.

Benny, you are factually incorrect on many items.

1) Nobody ever said the products were no good. Noam said MRVC missed a product cycle. What do you think that means?

2)Noboby ever said Barney was SSB for sure. I think it is almost certainly not.

3) Roktar NEVER said he has always been short. He says he got his ass kicked as a long, and he has reassessed his position. What would it take for you to think MRVC was no good?

I think it is better to come up with novel analysis of one's own than to try to tear other opinions down.

Consider my writing $10 june calls on over half my position, for a net $11 1/2. That didn't look so smart when MRVC stock was soaring, and I felt sure Supercomm would be a boost- but I went for a target price and got it.

How does $11 1/2 locked in look now? Not so stupid. I'm not looking for next week to be easy on anyone- I do not expect MRVC to buck the market and options expiration Friday without serious news. Which I would have released at SuperComm.
