PLZ READ: Walter Morton Alert!!!

Personally I wouldn't trust anything that Mr. Morton posts. Appearances
are not all what they seem. I am not an SI member and cannot post to
their board but I have follow threads and critiques of Mr. Morton's
submissions by the SI members. I would recommend anyone that
chooses to post commentary by Mr. Morton to do the same.

Mr. Morton attempts to display the appearance of objectivity but other
members on the SI board has accused him of "spinning" information to
his liking and being on an ego trip. My option is that he may have done
more damage and perhaps unwittingly circumvented RGALLIHUGH
attempted DD on the Sony/EDIG issue (see 32184).

For example Mr. Morton posted (see SI post 5598 or
siliconinvestor.com an
EDITORIALIZED version of a supposed email response by Mr. Ness
claiming that he meant to say "Digital on Demand" not "e.Digital".
However when pressed by the other SI members to produce the actual
email, Mr. Morton ignored their requests and has not offered a
response.

Thus, now Mr. Morton may or may not be sitting on the information that
RGALLIHUGH is attempting to obtain from Mr. Ness. Mr. Ness if he did
send such information to Mr. Morton may be reluctant to send it out
again to anyone. We don't know.

Additionally, the Lucent interview, Mr. Morton by his own admission
states: (see SI post 5634 or
siliconinvestor.com

"I just got off the phone with Joyce Eastman. I need to correct my
spelling and I will post her responses. On the telephone, I asked an
additional question that is not listed above. I did not record the
conversation so I cannot her responses dictate it word for word."

Mr. Morton's IMO creditability is dubious and not trustworthy. I also
recalling him slamming TWOMIL in a post months ago. It was
unnecessary at the time to bring it to the attention of this board but now
that Mr. Morton's remarks have infiltrated RB I feel it is necessary to
alert the members.

I'm not in the business of slamming anyone. But I do suggest that if
anyone decides to quote Mr. Morton that you spend some time on the
SI board and read his commentary as well as the responses and draw
your own conclusions.
