May I have your opinion on AOL since I am worrying??:-)

My guess is that AOL is near the bottom. I think we will open with a decline tomorrow and end close to flat on the day for the nets. This bearish sentiment is too severe and these companies have already corrected over 50% in some cases. I think amazon will sit around where it is now for a while or rise... Sarmad and Jan should look elsewhere like ebay for swings now... ebay is a special situation I would say. I think the brokerages will fall here, esp. etrade and ameritrade, because some of their rise was due to the market surge so they have a double negative with the net correction and mkt correction. I have some long positions that I will hold unless next week turns out to be a further rout and then I will have to sell some stuff because I am margined. I think the smart money will step in and buy if we get much more downside in the quality net issues.

I'm not much of a market timer but this fear of net stocks is a little irrational. On the economy front, I am seeing no inflation here and houses have stopped rising, I think the economy is actually cooling.
