If a tree falls and no one is around to hear does it still make a sound?

If Ampex makes a webcast and no one new tunes in does it still matter?

Just wondering if this webcast on the 28th will create a "buzz" around the stock or if it will just be another ho-hum event in which little information of value will be expressed.

Bramson is tight lipped anyway does he really have anything new to say or will be able to divulge?

On the other hand since this webcast is so atypical of his usual caution maybe there is reason for optimism. Or maybe he will just give a status report on the new production facilities and rehash old news.

At any rate I'll be tuning in and hoping for the best.

Gosh, I checked out the message on TVontheWEB, but I didn't quite understand the context it was written in. It was nice to be mentioned in somebody's post, and that I could be a possible video performer on TVontheWEB. Personally, I am still completely overwhelmed by the internet technology. I just learned how to do metatags for my website to notify the search engines, in order to get some hits. Next thing to do is to find a company, similar to an answering service, to take my credit card orders for me. Impulse buying must have instant gratification. Next, I need to get a sample of my music on my own pages, but I don't know how to do that yet. Plus, in real time, here off line, I'm busy prepping my "greatest" hits CD (1956-1999), and that's a handful, considering that there were no hits, just half a century of obscure rockabilly, tex-Mex, and Folk, which at least kept me off the streets, and away from guns. It would be great to have my video playing somewhere, but the ultimate goal, which I believe broadband will eventually provide me (and YOU, if you want it), is to have my own videos BLASTING 24 hours a day, right on my own website. If that ugly girl can do it, so can I. Would I be willing to take my clothes off for the intenet? Heck, I'm naked right now. But, to be honest, a narrowcasting ROCKABILLY webchannel on TVontheWEB would be a SMASH, naked or otherwise. The ROCKABILLY loonies are as devoted as any cult religion, and would certainly support anything related to that genre, particularly with movin' pictures. I have a new (used) Performa, but it has a built in 14K speed modem, so I still have no idea what movin' pictures look like on TVontheWeb yet. As soon as I get my manic depressive tech help person to put in my new 10 gig harddrive, and detach the internal modem, I'll finally get up to speed, and have a taste of what everyone here is talking about. But, he's not in the mood to set me up yet. It's two months since he said he would. Al.
