I think Slobo's popularity in Serbia might be short lived, once word of the mass atrocities in Kosovo gets back to Serbia proper. Most Serbians still don't know what really happened in Kosovo.

Now that the war is over, disaffection with Milosovich will take root again, and the word will get out. The full economic impact of the war hasn't hit home yet, and once it does things will be even worse for Slobo. Even though the bombing is over now, it will take Serbia decades to recover. Meanwhile, the countries around Serbia will continue to recover, and even thrive.

IMHO, Milosovich's days are numbered. He'll be lucky if they don't run him and his band of thugs out of Serbia to face war crimes trials. BTW, I'm all in favor of trying KLA thugs as well. It cuts both ways.
