Yes, it seems likely to me that at some point prior to 1/1 the market will drop at least 10% due to some of the very reasons money market funds are accumulating--belief that cash has a higher risk/reward ratio than stocks. Whether or not that is the time to buy I guess will depend on the real effect of Y2k.
