Alan,

Now that I think of it you're right -- RV is much better than it was last time I used it several months ago. The motion (in the Broadcast.com video I looked at yesterday) was fairly realistic but the picture was kinda like looking through a coke bottle.

When on-line movies really happen -- whether downloadable or streaming -- it'll be great: the selection should be tremendous. It's hard to find a video rental that has 1 out of 5 of the movies I really want to see.

I recently got the ATI All-In-Wonder-Pro and I'm really impressed with how well video can be handled by the computer -- and this is only a 64-bit, 8MB card. I actually prefer my computer to my TV because my monitor is 17" and the TV is 13" (not to mention the novelty factor). We are definitely headed for a golden age <g>.
