Let me put it this way. If Sony is going with DRDRAM for the Playstation II console, where each console must sell for no more than $400, and Sony is aiming for a first-half 2000 introduction in Japan, do you think the price premium would be that significant? (By the way, I think Playstation will have 32 MB of DRDRAM. Timna-class PCs will probably have 64 MB.)
