not necessarily re: red and green. red is a trade a a price lower than the one before; green at a higher price. so you can have a trade at the ask which is a buy followed by a trade below the ask or at a lower ask and it's still a buy, but it will be shown in red. and the whole thing is so fraught with deception anyway that it's impossible to tell sometimes what a given trade is. i've bought things at the bid and sold at the ask a couple of times, not to mention what the mm's do among themselves.
