Why would anyone view such an event as "news" when AMZN has already promised us in SEC filings and interviews that it will happen. Glenn, I know your intent is to hold AMZN as a core holding. Good luck. However, by your own well-articulated rationale you also run the risk of acquiring some very expensive wallpaper (even at 1 share per stock certificate.)
