Here is the link at the IBM web site that describes SiGe and how it helps mobile communications: research.ibm.com IBM is making a major push to become THE foundry for mobile communications companies. It has excellent research and basic chip fabrication and chip-level system integration technologies, but no mobile communications expertise. Q is one of IBM's top customers. IBM's web site (http://www.ibm.com) also has info on SIO and copper technologies. Just search for "sige", "sio" or "copper".
