If they make no more money with RDRAM than SDRAM then they simply won't
make the investments required to keep ramping up RDRAM support.


Might come down to the old VHS vs. Beta, or Mac vs. Wintel. The most sensical one doesn't necessarily win, more often, the one with the momentum and backing does. It'll be interesting no doubt.

All these DRAM guys are losing money.

Isn't that supposed to all change in the next golden era of semiconductors, which we're now entering?
