Robert, The best low priced way to play Treasury Zeroes is with American Century Treasury Funds. These former Benham funds buy zero coupon Treasuries at various maturity dates. They have low expenses and obviously they can buy zeroes more efficiently than any individual. The bad news is, there isn't much real mgt. going on here, so you are betting on the straight zero, less expenses, not on a hot manager. You can call them at 800 345 2021. The biggest bet is the 2025 fund, though you can buy maturities at 2000, 2005, 2010, 2015 and 2020, also.
