WRONG! WRONG! WRONG! Just about every investment house has a group of people that actually get paid to do technical analysis. You see, fundamental or quantitative analysis allows one to select good companies based on certain criteria and technical analysis determines an entry and exit point for a stock. I guess all the big investment houses like paying BIG BUCKS for those that read tea leaves, eh? It used to be said that "IGNORANCE is bliss." I say: IGNORANCE leads to significant LOSSES! If you do not understand or work with technical analysis, read up on it. To say it doesn't work, makes you look quite foolish to those of us that have made $$$ using it.
