Thanks for the reply. The 1/8ths are for two purposes:
1- day trading,(maximum two days of previous data), to determine intraday support/resistance areas and calculate how
far the next move and direction will be.

2- Determine the whole point moves for the day. It is crucial for me
to know whether a stock went down, then up and then back down or
did it go up,then down and then back up. This cannot be determined with end of day data.
