CC's proposal to double the shares will be voted on at their annual meeting 6-15. It's not clear to me exactly what the motive is. A Car-Max spin off would be great for CC's future. Perhaps better than a 2-1 split.

I understand that Car-Max and the lack of DVD components for sale in a portion of the Circuit City stores will provide a drag on earnings due this week.

Run-up before earnings has been excellent. I'll probably seel tomorrow and re-enter after earnings.
