The Germans will love reading about this.
Thank god this war has finally gotten some entertainment value.
The bombing skits got pretty boring after awhile.

German Journalists Killed in Kosovo
Sunday, June 13, 1999; 6:23 p.m. EDT

PRISTINA, Yugoslavia (AP) -- Unidentified men opened fire Sunday on a car carrying two German journalists, killing both of them, the German Foreign Ministry in Bonn reported.

Capt. Jean Morissette, a Canadian military spokesman in Ottawa, confirmed that a Canadian reconnaissance unit went to the aid of two German journalists about 25 miles south of Pristina.

Morissette said one of the journalists was killed and the other was seriously wounded.

In Bonn, however, a foreign ministry spokesman said both were dead. The official spoke on condition of customary anonymity.

The names of the two were not released.

The incident occurred near Dulje, which is the temporary base for about 150 Canadian engineers.
