Now in going to 300 MHz drdrams this 10 nsec increases by 33%. That's what I meant to say.

The 33% more time needed to get the data out also increases net latency.

Assuming a 40ns core access time, basic latency of 800Mhz DRDRAM is 60ns. For 600Mhz DRDRAM it's 66.7ns.
