Zeronet already provides free ISP internet in the US. Who needs AOL and other charging fee for internet.

DOUG,
Hi!!!

RE: In a conference call last month, Dell founder and Chief Executive Michael Dell told analysts that Dell was exploring plans to make "the PC look like a cable-TV subscription."

Commenting on the ATHM thread ....DELL IMO has a few options here...it is of tremendous interest to me....I believe you must have read my alluding comments about the pieces of the puzzle...puzzles ...that I have been throwing around...Michael's vision never stops amazing me...the quotes he throws our way ARE an indication of where DELL is going...only the fools that follow DELL for the quick buck and short term have no idea of this...or refuse to understand his committment to shareholders...I believe that the Excite...BBC and Excel deal has many possibilities...I have an understanding that Excel has a fabulous number of independent sales reps..reps that have the same sorta of incentives that the DELL employees have.....there is one in our small town..."selling" PC's to new reps is a bone right now...so Excel is looking for more sales reps....Interesting...Interesting...Interesting...so, perhaps Michael has a goal in mind for all those reps? I can't imagine reading Virtual Integration one more time and not believing he is just looking to sell PC's to an outfit that wants to boost their sales force?? At least...not without a reason...and then there is the speech at MIT where the article portrayed his "excitement" with bandwidth...cable...two way...and surely the corporation that owns Excel....Globetron has something to do with this also....Looking their web page up I find they are huge in Submarine fiber....and satellite capabilities....Hey, then there is FAST....reading that again yesterday slowly had me reaaaalllly thinking....some of the comments about what the real percentage of usable information to internet subscribers is caught my attention...big time..as little as only 10%!!!.....FAST wants to and believes it can update the entire internet...daily...and guess who they are working hand and hand with and using who's servers to develop this? Yes...I am probably confusing folks here...I am tooooo...I can only surmise a guess...but, let's just say that DELL may become a phone service and an internet service...all in one...NOTHING that Michael DELL does will surprise me...and surely...if he does anything...It will be the best ...and for the best price...that we can bet on!

Best, kemble
