<r u going long b4 earnings? i will sell directly b4 the earnings are announced since it always tanks the next day> Yeah, I know that's what everyone is planning. It has happened so many times before and is a well-known, "proven" pattern that everyone is counting on this quarter. Which means that, it is almost a 100% certainty that it won't happen this quarter!! I've seen this phenomena so many times in the indexes, and the stocks... once something becomes "obvious" (conventional wisdom) it doesn't happen anymore... I'm more likely to be short in the near-term... YHOO needs to show me more than a short-squeeze - would like to see signs of a clear reversal back into an uptrend b4 looking at longs. Net sector looks more likely to tank again, right now! Just my thoughts/opinions. I completely miss em' sometimes ;) -Steve
