Mike this only points out the poor quality of EBAY mangers. They are trying to blame SUNW for their own blunder IMHO.

EBAY should had a mirror site established if they are so highly dependent on their web site.

IMHO it's all EBAY fault even if SUNW has some of the burden of the site failure

Harware is prone to failure no matter how well it is designed. Even airplanes fall from the sky for technical reasons.

What is the real tech story behind this? Based on online news sources EBAY seemed to be pointing the finger at SUNW for software failures and SUNW seemed to be pointing it back saying it was EBAY written software ? The latter makes more sense.
