Arthur, That was one of your best posts. I would take a step back now and see if ANYONE has the knowledge or intelligence to respond with any substance. I understand why you would not respond to an alias. Just want you to know that I would use my real name but the people here are dangerous. Look forward to getting all the up to date info as it comes in.

Art: Was wondering what Eddie Murphy"s buddy has been into lately? " At least Arsenio and the Fiero's try to put out factual material when they trash a company?" The guy's name is Manuel Asencio. It's incredible that by now some reputable person from the internet industry or from the tech industry has not not been quoted about this technology and it's revolutionary status. All we have are difficult to quantify statements, that no one has been able to attach any meaningful revenue or sales figures to. The tech-savvy people here are not convinced by any press releases or anecdotal evidence yet. This co needs to convince someone with credibility before it will have any of its own. Especially considering the credibility of the management. Get it.

However ignorance is no excuse and does not mitigate the violation of Rule 10b-5(b) of the Securities and Exchange Act. It shall be unlawful for any person, directly or indirectly, by the use of any means or instrumentality of interstate commerce, or of the mails or of any facility of any national securities exchange... b.To make any untrue statement of a material fact or to omit to state a material fact necessary in order to make the statements made, in the light of the circumstances under which they were made, not misleading, ... law.uc.edu On its face the PR is false. Even if rewritten to generally discuss a compression tool with such performance characteristics, it would almost assuredly still be misleading under 10b-5(b). Assuming the Company has data to back up their claim, then the underlying data to support the said claim would have to be included - the original file size, the file content etc. - but then even the most naive investor could then see through the smoke and mirrors; which makes putting out a PR rather pointless, don't you think? ww
