Sounds like a general rule for AMD - ASSUMING that applies over their 5000 or 6000 wafers/week.

If they make $10,000/wafer on ,let's say, 3500 wafers/week, AMD's fixed overhead will NOT BE offset and they would most likely lose another ton of money.
