Mike -- <Isn't it interesting that last September the market was collapsing with interest rates tumbling...to thirty(?) year lows.> Good point. Perhaps that is one of the reasons why it is hard for the market to get straight on the direction from here on in. It is hard for so many of us to think the economy could suddenly go into overdrive and change the market dynamic. Looking at the amount of money pumped into the world economy last fall and into Japan this spring, it is little wonder that we are getting a spurt -- but what is next? There is real uncertainty. And real risk.
