They've still got another 40% to go. Perhaps you forgot that they went up 900% in the last 12 months?

What goes up, will come down.

Mark -- I am going to hold my course for the time being -- but your assessment and the gap between us is what makes me sweat. I like to think of this thread as a discussion among friends -- sometimes with lively differences. If we all agreed all the time there would be no value to me in being here. If I can add anything, it is a perspective that might not otherwise occur to you. Good luck.

Mark, as you know, I respect you for your market calls a great deal. So I am asking for some pointed advice. If you have not been following ebay, feel free to pass.

As you may know, I was in ebay at 15 split-adjusted 9/98. It closed Fri at 165. I am expecting it to open at 145 and close at 135 tomorrow. I am thinking of selling first thing in the am.

Based on what you know technically and/or fundamentally about ebay, do you have any short or intermediate expectations for the stock and/or any advice for me?

tia, Rob

Mark,

How would you play AMGN on the short side here?
I think there could be 10 points on the downside, if
I could get short b/w 56 & 60
