That was an interesting report from SuperComm you posted. The writer sure was negative on G.Lite vs the other DSL possibilities. I can't figure out why he was so excited about ALA's ADSL. He implies that what ALA did at SuperComm, and it's very limited testing, would happen in real world mass deployment? SuperComm is not the real world so I lost him on that reasoning. Plus it is asymetrical, for however much a deterent that is for business users. And he never mentioned the distance limitation problems ADSL is facing. Notice he did mention Paradyne's MVL-DSL but gave no real details.

One thing he did make clear. And that is how confusing DSL is now and will be in the future. He captured that well.
