As long as Nato soldiers encounter KLA thugs and allow them to leave to consult with their commander whether to return to surrender their guns(????)...it is only a matter of time before thest thugs start some practice shooting on the Russians...IMHO

Gustave,

The Russians in their haste to get a piece of the pie have made things unbelievably dangerous. The Russian contingent at Pristina airport blocked reinforcements to the British force there. I am waiting for the paratroopers to start dropping in, and gunfire breaks out. The KLA of course do not make things much easier. I havent read about the sniping at the airport yet, but Ive just started my day here. The KLA have, as I understand, seized a coal mine. They have also continued their offensive, as I understand they have accosted retreating Serbian columns. It may be a very hot peace in Kosovo. How many people have been killed already after opening fire on NATO troops? Blair may get his ground offensive yet...
