Some on Wall Street consider the first hour of trading as amatuer hour. Wait till 10:00 or so before drawing any real conclusions about the actual direction of the market or a stock for the day. If you are looking for volatility, you can find it in the first 30 minutes of trading.

Some of the weaker hands decieded over the weekend that they want out after friday's action. As they sell, some of the shorts that are up 20-30% will be buying and closing out. It's just the natural give and take of the market.

Short term technical for traders, options traders, shorts and the like, the key question to be answered today is: Do we close at $90 or higher.

For those who are long on the stock, Simply continue to hold good names, focus on the fundamentals and long term.

Here is a chart to keep an eye on today. Bottom line is to see where we close. Note that CMGI tanked in the first hour, this is why it is such a great time for traders. It is now trying to trend up. We can all go do something else, then come back around 3:00 to watch the finishing fireworks.
