After the last 2 weeks of extremely good gains for the group, this past week also produced a gain of 3 percent while the SOX-X was up 5 percent. 24 of the stocks were up, 6 stayed the same, and 10 were down for the week. The group sum closed at approximately the same level as it did during the first 3 weeks in February. In the interim, the group sum fell back considerably, and then during the past 3 weeks in June, closed at the February level. The group is now 28 percent above its 25 April 1997 low point when record keeping began. FSII did very well this week. It is starting to creep upward towards that $26 a share price at year end I predicted a short while ago. <gg>. Since the last 3 weeks have seen a 22 percent rise in the group sum, while the SOX-X has shown an 18 percent rise, the following is a table to show the winners and losers over that period. 36 out of the 40 stocks were up while only 4 were down. 19 stocks were up over 20 percent, and 7 stocks were up over 30 percent. There are 2 more weeks to go in June. Will the gain of the group hold, or go up even more in the next 2 weeks?
