Wally M: When Dr. Greenshades says "The rate of growth of productivity cannot increase indefinitely", someone should ask him the basis of this "law".

It seems to me, as each new generation of microprocessors proliferates into the products produced by this country and other nations around the world (ie. .25 micron chips to .18 micron chips to .13 micron chips ....), new productivity is generated from business uses of PC. computers, cell phones, and all the other ingenious products existing now and that will be created in the future.

Imho, Dr. Greenshades needs to be put on the spot and asked specifically what he sees that will put a stop to this seemingly ever continuing process.
